Maple Code
Nathan Grigg has developed a Maple package
for tropical mathematics that can graph, analyze, and otherwise
manipulate tropical polynomials. It is a useful tool for
anyone wanting to explore tropical geometry and algebra. For more information, or to
download a current version of the code, see the maple page.
Resources
For those who are just beginning their study of tropical mathematics, the paper Tropical Mathematics by Speyer and Strumfels, along with this movie of an introductory
talk by B. Sturmfels
on tropical geometry will be most helpful.
