Title

Computation and Optimization 1 Lab

(Credit Hours:Lecture Hours:Lab Hours)

(1:0:2)

Offered

F

Prerequisite

concurrent with 320, Math 345

Description

Programming algorithms and using functions to implement the optimization algorithms taught in Math 320. Applications presented. Developing models and applying results of computations to the application domain.

Desired Learning Outcomes

Prerequisites

Minimal learning outcomes

Students will be able to model many applications effectively using the concepts covered in Math 320. They will be able to use software to do the computations that are central to these concepts, and will be able to interpret and apply the results of those computations in the contexts in which the models originated.
