Title: The Dynamics of Linear Operators
Abstract: We will give an introduction to and a survey of the chaotic and unpredictable behavior of orbits for continuous linear operators on Hilbert spaces and Banach spaces. Including how linear dynamics can be just as complicated as nonlinear dynamics, the invariant subspace problem for linear operators and even some unsolved problems about the dynamics of 4 × 4 matrices and 6 × 6 matrices.
