Title: Liouville type Theorems for the 2D Stationary MHD system
Abstract: In this talk, I will present some new Liouville-type results for the 2D MHD system, which we obtain by finding a nice drift-diffusion equation for the stream function associated with the magnetic field; I will discuss some physical implications of this drift-diffusion equation. I will also discuss some interesting, still open, questions around these equations. The results I will present are mainly from my recent preprint ( https://arxiv.org/abs/2103.00551 to appear in Nonlinearity) together with Nicola De Nitti and Dr. Simon Schulz.
